The 2020 NAHL Supplemental Draft took place this past Tuesday (5/12) and the Norsemen added three new members to the team.

Recap:

Round 1, Pick #3: Trevor Smith

Position: Forward
Hometown: Raleigh, NC
Height/ Weight:  5’9/ 175 lbs
Shoots: Right
College Commitment: Vermont (Hockey East, D1)

Summary: 
Smith comes to the Norsemen from the Northeast Generals (NAHL) in which he spent both the 2018-19 & 2019-20 season with. The North Carolina native posted 14 points (10 G, 4 A) during the 2019-20 season. Smith, a 2001 birth year is currently committed to play his college hockey at the University of Vermont (Hockey East, D1).

Round 2, Pick #30: Johnny Meiers

Position: Forward
Hometown: Eagan, MN
Height/ Weight:  5’9/ 175 lbs
Shoots: Left
College Commitment: Colorado College (NCHC, D1)

Summary: 
Meiers comes to the Norsemen from Eagan H.S and posted 34 points (15 G, 19 A)  in 25 games for the Wildcats. Meiers, a 2002 birth year is currently committed to play his college hockey at Colorado College (NCHC, D1).

Round 3, Pick #65: Josh Corrow

Position: Defense
Hometown: New Port Richey, FL
Height/ Weight:  6’0 / 200 lbs
Shoots: Right
College Commitment: Uncommitted

Summary: 
Corrow comes to the Norsemen from the Whitecourt Wolverines of the AJHL. The Florida native spent two seasons in Whitecourt and had 17 points (2G,15A) during the 2019-20 season. Corrow served also served as an Assistant Captain for the Wolverines this past season.
