Ugly Sweaters, Salvation Army and Santa! Join us for a happy holiday weekend with the St. Cloud Norsemen!
This weekend’s Norsemen home games against the Aberdeen Wings on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 17-18 at 7:00 p.m. are presented by 96.7 FM The River. St. Cloud’s 2021-22 season is presented by Premier Real Estate.
Jolly Old St. Nick will be at both of this weekend’s games before he heads back to the North Pole to get ready for Christmas. Fans will be able to get pictures with Santa during the games, so bring the whole family and meet Santa!
It’s also an Ugly Sweater weekend, so bust out your favorite (or least favorite) holiday sweaters and bring your Christmas cheer to the games to cheer on the Norsemen Friday and Saturday!
The team will be wearing Ugly Sweaters too. Norsemen special Ugly Sweater Jerseys will be available for auction online beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 12:00 p.m. CT and closing on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 9:00 p.m. CT. Fans who are present at Saturday’s game and win their chosen jersey, can pick up their jersey from the Norsemen player at the end of the game. Proceeds from the jersey auction will go to Salvation Army in St. Cloud.

The Norsemen are teaming up with the Salvation Army to do some good with a Winter Clothing Drive through our partners at Rapids Alterations. For years, Cindy Battleson, owner of Rapids Alterations in Sauk Rapids, has supported the Salvation Army with a Winter Clothing Drive. Cindy and her staff collect clothing donations, mend and repair, so it can be used to help those in need through the Salvation Army. The Norsemen will be collecting winter coats, scarves, hats and gloves at this weekend’s games to support the Salvation Army’s efforts in the St. Cloud region so bring your items to place in the bins at the door.
St. Cloud Norsemen players have been out in the St. Cloud community bell-ringing for Salvation Army at various locations throughout the month of December. The local Salvation Army has been hit hard by thefts this year and the Norsemen want to support donation efforts. There will also be a kettle for donations on the concourse during Friday and Saturday’s games.
