St. Cloud, MN – Brett Chorske’s four-point night and a red-hot power-play propelled the St. Cloud Norsemen past the Minnesota Magicians 5-1 on Thursday night.
In the first, St. Cloud got on the board just 3:05 into the game as Brett Chorske scored his 11th of the season. Later in the frame, the Norsemen needed only a few seconds of power-play time to add to their lead with Jack Reimann’s goal.
St. Cloud added to its advantage with Jack Suchy’s seventh of the season before Chorske would add a fourth goal, his second of the game, to put the Norsemen up 4-0. Late in the period, the Magicians would get on the board as Simon Falk found the back of the net.
Early in the third, Ryan O’Neill scored for the Norsemen, a power-play tally, to secure the 5-1 victory.
With the win, the Norsemen improve to 16-26-1 and will take on the Minnesota Wilderness on Friday, April 16 at 7:15PM in Cloquet, MN. Mark Shelley will provide the Play-By-Play on the Lyon Sheet Metal & Heating Norsemen Network beginning at 7:05PM on HockeyTV.
