NORSEMEN TENDER ST. LOUIS BLUES FORWARD CLARKE

The St. Cloud Norsemen have signed forward Andrew Clarke to a North American Hockey League tender.

Clarke is a 5’11 155 lbs. right-shot 2004-born forward from Creve Couer, Missouri, skating for the St. Louis Blues AAA program. Clarke has played Tier 1 Elite AAA hockey with the Blues program for the last five seasons, winning the T1EHL Championship with the U18 squad this year. Clarke has 11 goals and 18 assists in 30 games played this season in the T1EHL and Midwest Exposure Series. Clarke has also played four seasons of high school hockey for Chaminade College Prep, scoring 14 goals and 11 assists for 25 points in 14 games this season.

The St. Cloud Norsemen have also tendered Clarke’s AAA Blues teammate Anthony Ruklic, along with forwards Andrew Knapp, Dakota Lenz, Hogan Sinjem and Max Strand as well as defenseman Leo Gruba and Wyatt Wurst this season. Gruba is ranked in the top 100 among North American skaters in the latest NHL Central Scouting 2022 draft rankings.

St. Cloud (28-14-1-1) is in first place in the Central Division with a four-point advantage over second place Aberdeen. The Norsemen host Aberdeen tonight, Saturday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. and welcome the Janesville Jets on Sunday, March 6 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex.
