About the team: The St. Cloud Norsemen play in the North American Hockey League, the most highly recruited junior hockey league in the United States. Players range from age 16-21 and play in St. Cloud with the goal of committing to an NCAA school.
There are currently eight NCAA Division I committed players on the roster: St. Cloud State, Minnesota State, Miami, Dartmouth, Vermont, Alaska-Anchorage, Northern Michigan and St. Thomas. Minnesota’s Mr. Hockey Max Strand is on the roster, along with several highly touted NHL Draft eligible players, and local product Blake Perbix, a Minnesota High School state champion for Cathedral.
