The St. Cloud Norsemen in the North American Hockey League, are seeking an assistant coach.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • A high-level hockey background
  • Coaching experience and certification
  • Practice planning experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to recruit, scout and sign players
  • Experience with video coaching tools
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Ability to perform administrative tasks

The Equipment Manager is responsible for overall equipment of the team, such as repairs, laundry, skate sharpening, and maintaining a professional locker room.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Making sure players have what they need for practices and games
  • Doing team laundry after every practice and game
  • Packing equipment supplies for road games
  • Sewing to repair all socks, jerseys, and anything else that may require sewing
  • Sharpening skates to each player and staff member specifications as requested
  • Good communication with staff and players
  • Cleaning and maintaining a professional look to the locker room

The Norsemen are looking for a safe and experienced bus driver to operate the team bus, delivering team and staff to all road games, which includes weekends and overnight driving.

Preliminary Requirements:

  • Clean driving history (We will need a copy of your Driving Record for the previous three years)
  • Must possess CDL with a Passenger Endorsement
  • Reliable, conscientious, punctual
  • Neat, business-casual appearance
  • Drug-free


  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle
  • Operate vehicle safely in all types of weather and traffic conditions
  • Punctuality is critical.
  • Pick up and deliver passengers safely
  • Follow all driving laws


  • Must be 25 years or older and have had your driver’s license for five years
  • Have no more than two moving violations on your Driving Record
  • Submit to and pass random drug tests and a criminal background check
  • Must be in good physical condition and able to get in and out of a vehicle easily and quickly.
  • Pass a basic DOT Physical Examination
