It is with great sadness that the St. Cloud Norsemen share the news of the loss of Kathy Millen, mother of head coach Corey Millen, after a battle with cancer.

Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Millen of Cloquet, passed away on November 29, 2021, in her home surrounded by family in Cloquet, Minnesota.

Kathy, 80, along with her husband Dick, have been huge supporters of Corey’s hockey career, from the beginning at age four, through hockey in Clouqet, to the University of Minnesota, NHL, Olympics, and now through his coaching career. They have followed all the teams he has coached, rarely missing a game. She will be missed by all.

The St. Cloud Norsemen organization shares our deepest condolences with Corey, his father Dick, sister Toni and their extended family, as they mourn the loss of Kathy.

The Norsemen plan to honor Kathy Millen with a moment of silence ahead of Saturday’s home game against North Iowa at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Athletic Complex in St. Cloud.
