NORSEMEN ANNOUNCE PRESEASON MATCHUP AGAINST TEAM USA

ST. CLOUD, MN – The St. Cloud Norsemen of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) announced, Tuesday afternoon, two exhibition games against the U.S. National Under-18 Team on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 at Dave Torrey Arena in St. Cloud.

Friday’s contest will begin at 4:00 PM, and Saturday’s game will begin at 7:00 PM. Both contests will be open for general admission with only 250 tickets available. Tickets will be available at stcloudnorsemen.com beginning on Wednesday at 5:00 PM Central.

The games will be broadcast live on HockeyTV with Mark Shelley, the Voice of the Norsemen, providing the play-by-play coverage.

Team USA, which is a part of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program, will roster some of the top junior talent in the country when they travel to St. Cloud.

“This is a great opportunity for our players to play against a very talented group of guys,” said Head Coach Corey Millen.

Upon the conclusion of the weekend stint against the NTDP, the Norsemen will turn their attention to October 9 and their matchup with the Aberdeen Wings to kick off the 2020 regular season. The Norsemen home opener is slated for October 30 against the Bismarck Bobcats.
