The St. Cloud Norsemen opened the season AGAINST THE BISMARCK BOBCATS AT HOME over the weekend.
Friday night the Norsemen trailed 3-0 when Dominykas Sadauskas got the Norsemen on the board off an assist from Blake Dosan, but Bismarck rolled from that point on scoring 4 unanswered goals for a 7-1 victory.
On Saturday the Norsemen fell behind 3-0 after the 1st period before Blake Dosan scored early in the 2nd with an assist from Mate Tardi. Then in the 3rd period trailing 4-1 the Norsemen came alive with Brandon Rodenwald scoring off an assist from Evan Hinnenkamp five minutes in then Eddie Hannan scored two minutes later to pull the Norsemen within a goal. Bismarck answered quickly though, with a goal a minute later and then tacked on another power play goal to seal the 6-3 victory.
St. Cloud will head to the Showcase in Blaine this week where they face New Hampshire on Wednesday at 1:15 pm; New Mexico on Thursday at 12:15 pm and the Minnesota Wilderness on Saturday at 3:45 pm. Watch all the action on NAHLTV.com powered by West Central Technology
