Game 4 St. Cloud Norsemen vs Springfield Jr. Blues
The Saint Cloud Norsemen blanked the Springfield Jr. Blues by a score of 5-0 on Saturday September 16 at Schwan’s Super Rink in Blaine, Minn.
Gavin Gunderson (Roseau, Minn.) and Michael Coleman (Grand Forks, N.D.) both lit the lamp in the first period for STC. Braden Panzer (Grand Forks, N.D.) made it a 3-0 lead early in the second period. It was Niklas Miller (Howell, MI.) and Sammy Crane (Chicago, Ill.) who finished the scoring to secure the 5-0 win in the final game of the NAHL Showcase.
Norsemen Goaltender Max Weilandt (Northbrook,Ill.) turned away 16 Springfield shots in the victory. The Blues Goaltender tandem of JJ Caltaldo and Nick Bunch stopped 45 of 50 total shots from Norsemen skaters.
Saint Cloud will travel to Austin, Minnesota to face the Austin Bruins at Riverside Arena on Thursday, September 22 for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop.
