St. Cloud, MN – Jack Suchy’s third period goal lifted the St. Cloud Norsemen over the Austin Bruins, 3-2, on Wednesday night.
The Bruins took the lead in the first period when Barrett Brooks found the back of the net. Shortly after, Brett Chorske directed a Ryan O’Neill pass into the back of the net to level the score.
Austin, again, took the lead in the second period with a Walter Zacher power-play goal before Brendan Kim scored his fifth of the season on a Norsemen power-play to tie the game at 2-2.
In the third, Chorske created a Bruins turnover and fed the puck to Jack Suchy who scored his sixth of the season, give the Norsemen the go-ahead goal.
With the win, the Norsemen improve to 13-20-1 and will take on the Austin Bruins on Monday, March 22nd at 7:00PM in St. Cloud. Mark Shelley will provide the Play-By-Play on the Lyon Sheet Metal & Heating Norsemen Network beginning at 6:55PM on HockeyTV.
