St. Cloud, MN – St. Cloud Norsemen forward Ryan O’Neill has been named the North American Hockey League’s Central Division Star of the Week for the week ending April 25, the league announced Monday afternoon.
O’Neill’s recognition comes as his first of the season and first of his NAHL career.
Over a three-game span during the past week of play, O’Neill tallied a total of six points as the Norsemen captured three consecutive victories over the Minnesota Wilderness and the Austin Bruins.
“Ryan has really been playing well and has been a big part of our offense,” said Norsemen head coach Corey Millen.
The Roseville, MN native currently ranks second among Norsemen skaters in scoring with 32 points in 43 games.
