NORSEMEN SIGN ANDREW KNAPP TO TENDER

St. Cloud, Minn. — The Norsemen have signed forward Andrew Knapp to a North American Hockey League tender.

Knapp (2004, 6’4, 200 lbs.) is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and plays for the Carshield 18U AAA program. Knapp has 38 points in 34 games this season, scoring 14 goals. Prior to this season, Knapp played for the St. Louis Blues AAA program and for the Lafayette Lancers high school team.

The St. Cloud Norsemen have also tendered forwards Dakota Lenz, Hogan Sinjem and Max Strand, as well as defenseman Leo Gruba this season. Gruba is ranked 100th among North American skaters in the latest NHL Central Scouting 2022 draft rankings.

The St. Cloud Norsemen have a 15-12-0-1 record in the 2021-22 season, presented by Premier Real Estate. St. Cloud currently sports five NCAA Division I committed players on its active roster. The Norsemen travel to face the Austin Bruins on Friday, January 14, before returning home to host the Bruins on Saturday, January 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex.
